Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error ’80004005′

I was getting a really strange error on all the subsites on this domain a few days ago. The error was one of the:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

family. There’s a whole range of reasons why this can occur, but when I contacted support they recommended I use the OLEDB provider instead of the ODBC driver. I promptly switched to this, only to start receiving “Unspecified error” as the message.

Turns out I had just run out of space on the hosting package for this domain. I just upped the space and problem solved. Just thought I’d pop it here in case I forget about it next time.
