Spam, Spam and even more Spam

It’s amazing how much spam I’m getting nowadays. I’m not getting anymore Viagra or sex spams, which is a bit of a relief, but I’m getting lots with Cyrillic letters and girls wanting to chat with someone. I’m as likely to respond to them as I am to go our any buy some Boulder real estate, but I suppose the people sending them don’t really care, do they?

I might actually see if I can find a plugin for Thunderbird that may help to manage spam. My mail provider already clears a big chunk of it, but it’s still annoying to have to sift through the rest. There seem to be a few on the list which I will play with. I’ll let you know how I get on.

  1. I’m having the same problem. Thunderbird marks it as spam but leaves it in the “Inbox” it’s like they don’t have it automatically forwarded to a junk box, but I suppose it doesn’t bug me enough to change anything.

  2. I’m having the very same problem, I intalled a couple of plugins and I still receive some garbage. This is real pain.
