Here’s an interesting website to try out: SearchMe lets you search for interesting websites by showing you screenshots of what the website looks like for you to gauge whether it’s really what you’re after or not. It works pretty well, but it does highlight that your site needs to be visually appealing to encourage people to come and visit. It actually works really well, for example, if I search for list of best diet pills, it first asks if I want to search in “Diet & Weight Loss”, “Nutrition”, “Fitness” or “All of them”, then presents me with pictures of websites that match my query.
