Only Network

So, thanks to the problems I’ve had with ServerGrid we are now on a new platform, one which gives us enhanced availability and the flexibility and agility to build better websites quicker.

This has gome with a price however, and I’ve had to drop some of the older subsites hosted by The Only Network that weren’t compatible with the new hosting. Here are the ones we will miss:

• Only Humor: My joke website where I learnt lots about ASP and web databases. This had grown to a collection of around 2000 jokes which will continue living on The Joke Shop.
• Only Postcards: This was a postcards website that was the first real large scale site I built. It had photos from all over the world, scenery from Malta, Vegas vacations from the US, animals from Australia; all generously donated by the people who snapped them and lovingly turned into postcards. My old host branded this as a “spam factory” and that’s the reason for the move. Unfortunately this was written in ASP, but I do plan to rewrite this one day when I have time.
• Only Webcams: This was already closed down but I was planning on rebuilding it. It will have to be rebuilt in PHP and will probably be better and stronger for that.

Once again, I’d like to express my thanks to the lads down at Tubu.net for their magnificent service. I look forward to working with you more closely in the future.
