Camille reminded me that yesterday was the 5th anniversary of The Joke Shop. Not the website, which had been opened 2 years ealier, but the brick-and-mortar shop we had opened in Staines. It’s quite rewarding when your home based business takes a step into the real world and starts dealing with real people instead of “some bloke on the Internet”.
The shop was open found around 3 years before Arthur came along and we decided to pack it in. The website is still up and running though, still shipping wacky and wonderful stuff all over the world. So head down and buy some stink bombs.
