You can use them to send your favourite picture to someone, to share a thought or express an idea. Only Postcards was created with that idea in mind. Postcards from Down Under
Australia, the world's smallest continent and largest island, is a fascinating country. Spanning 3 time zones, it hosts a number of varied climates simultaneously. In Australia,one can find a number of unique creatures, like the kangaroo and koala, as well as opals, Ayers Rock and the Great Barrier Reef. Then, of course, there are the Aboriginal natives, a people who have been around for 50,000 years.

Postcards from Bermuda
Bermuda, an archipelago located in the North Atlantic Ocean is reknowned world-wide for its favourable taxation laws and breath-taking beaches. With their pink sand and crystal-clear blue water, Bermuda's beaches attract tourists from all over the world. It also boasts a wealth of marine life and has some spectacular golf courses. Bermuda is the oldest self-governing territory of the U.K., though it is closer to the U.S. and has a rich history dating back to its colonisation in 1612.

China is the largest country in the world in terms of population, more than 20% of the world population. China boasts a grand heritage, having been one of the dominant civilisations of the ancient world. Today, China is regaining in economic strength, especially with the re-integration of Hong Kong within its borders in 1997.

Canada is the second largest country in the world, found in North America, made up of 10 provinces and 3 territories. Canada is a vast nation with a wide variety of geological formations, climates, and ecological systems including rain forest, prairie grassland, deciduous forest, tundra, and wetlands. French and English are it's primary languages, spoken by most Canadians. Most Canadians live in the southern part of the country because the north of Canada has harsh Arctic and sub-Arctic climates. It is renowned for its scenery, which attracts millions of tourists each year.

Postcards from Egypt
Egypt, land of the Nile and the Pharaohs, is the cradle of one of the world's greatest ancient civilizations and has a recorded history that dates from about 3200 BC. Today, Egypt is a great place to go on holiday, whether it is to visit bustling Cairo, sail on the Nile, or gaze upon the legacy left behind by Ancient Egyptians.

Postcards from England
England is part of both Great Britain and the United Kingdom. It covers a total area of 130,478 square kilometres and its capital is London. The north is dominated by upland regions such as the mountains of Cumbria, the Pennines (stretching south to the Peak District) and the Cheviot Hills. The south is characterised by a less rugged landscape. England has a mild temperate climate with the highest rainfall in the west. In winter, average temperatures are higher in the south and west while in summer, the warmest weather is to be found in southern and inland regions.

France is a country with a rich and varied history dating back to the times of the Druids and Romans. France is reknowned world-wide as a source of fine wine, cheese and other foods. It covers and area of 220,000 square miles and is devided into different provinces, each with their own traditions and dialects. We hope these postcards give you a taste of the French joie de vivre.

Iceland, land of fire and ice, is volcanic in origin and boosts some of the most breath-taking sights in the world. Iceland is remarkable for it's number of volcanoes, earthquakes and thermal springs. Fishing is the major industry on the island and Icelanders enjoy a standard of living among the highest in the world.

Postcards from Italy
Italy is in the center of Europe surrounded by seas and mountains. It has a highly diversified climate and has a rich history, having been the birthplace of great poets, painters, sculptors and writers. In Italy you can visit Roman ruins, gawk at Renaissance art, go skiing in the Alps, stay in tiny medieval hill towns and explore the canals of Venice. Naturally you can also indulge in the more elementary pleasures of enjoying good food and wine, improving your wardrobe and making some new friends.

Situated in the centre of the British Isles, the Isle of Man is covered with wooded glens and rounded hills. The island has a rich Celtic and Norse heritage boasting the oldest continuous Parliament in the world. Today, it is mostly known for it's growing financial sector and its motorcycle racing, most famous being the Manx TT.
